The size of the  island is 750,000 square metres and it is situated in the west of Greece  about 350 kilometers from Athens or 45 minutes by plane to Preveza airport (Aktio).

Lefkas is the place as you can see from the map, the place where you can get a small boat and reach "Kythros". You embark from the port of Nydri (a well-known port because it is very close to famous ONASIS'S island "SCORPIOS". A four nautical mile voyage............... and that's it. You are there in 10 minutes by a speed boat. From Scorpios it is only 2 nautical miles away.

Kythros island is very close to an inhabited area (Meganisi) which means that the installation of electricity, telecommunications  and water supply is a piece of cake.

Meganisi is visited by thousands of tourists and offers hotels, furnished flats , rooms and everything to give the best to its visitors.

Kythros and Scorpios among other islands compose the administrative area of the municipality of Meganisi.
